I believe we all have the capacity to do college-level statistics and that we can tap into that capacity as a family of teachers and learners who are responsible for each other’s success in this class. As your teacher and a fellow learner, I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you to demystify statistics and to be part of your journey toward achieving your educational goals. Together, through our good hard work and sustained effort, we can all be successful and reap the rewards of education’s promise.
To begin the online orientation, please carefully read through the fall 2020 course syllabus (opens in a new tab) and decide whether this online class is right for you.
After carefully reading the syllabus, if you are still interested in taking Math 160 online with me, you need to enroll in the course through the College. However, you will not gain immediate access to our course on Canvas. After enrolling in Math 160 through the College, it may be more than 24 hours (not including weekends) before you have access to the course on Canvas (assuming I have opened it). To remain enrolled in Math 160, you must complete the online orientation quiz in our course on Canvas by Monday, September 14th, at 11:59 pm (the first official day of the class). I will open our Canvas course by Thursday, Semptember 10th, at 12:00 pm.
