Herbert Nino has been working for the City of San Diego for 15 years, most recently as the Senior Water Utility Supervisor for the Public Utilities Department Wastewater Collection Division. Herb’s role with the City includes the operation, inspection and maintenance of 76 sewer collection pumping stations throughout the City of San Diego. Herb also provides technical training to junior employees working in the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection systems.
Herb holds a California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Grade IV Mechanical Technologist certification, and has been active in the CWEA for over 15 years.
Herb has Associate Degree’s in both Environmental Technology and Business Management.
