Henry Palechek has been working in the electronics and instrumentation field since 1986. In his role as the Instrument and Process Control Systems Supervisor for the Helix Water District, Henry designed, installed, and now manages the SCADA system and controls for a 106 MGD water treatment plant and a 50 square mile water distribution system that includes 22 storage tanks, 25 pump stations, and 725 miles of pipelines. Henry has been instructing the CWS 106 ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION PROCESSES class for the last 27 years and has recently added an advanced CWS 206 class. Henry also holds a State T-5 Water Treatment Operator certification (the highest treatment level certification granted by the State Water Resources Control Board) and instructs the CWS 112 and CWS 212 (Basic and Advanced Water Treatment Operations) classes. Henry holds a BS degree in Information Systems and two AS degrees in electronic and computer technologies. He is SWRCB certified as a T-5 Water Treatment Operator and a D-2 Water Distribution Operator. |
